
Meet Alison
I am the Founder and Principal of Alison Crabb Consulting and have worked with some of Australia’s most recognised and successful organisations for more than 25 years. My career began as a Travel Consultant with Flight Centre Travel Group, where my career trajectory saw me promoted to Store Manager and then to an area leadership role before spending eight years as a Global Leader in a highly competitive and challenging retail environment.
Through these years of learning, development and improvement, as I pushed boundaries and drove improvement year on year, seeing profit grow from $18 million to $49 million, I was also instrumental in building the culture at Flight Centre. During my years of leadership, I led my team to be the most profitable division globally for eight consecutive years. I have achieved unprecedented results, working with more than 1200 staff across more than 200 retail outlets and generating $1.2 billion in sales annually. My achievements were recognised when I was awarded Flight Centre’s Directors’ Award for Global Outstanding Achievement. I was also a finalist in the Telstra Businesswoman of the Year Award.
I launched my leadership consulting business in 2016, working with some of Australia’s leading businesses to achieve new business heights. Throughout my career, my reputation has been built on knowledge, experience, trust and success.

The building of a culture of excellence and continual improvement under my leadership resulted in my division delivering the Flight Centre Travel Group’s highest profit globally for eight consecutive years. Achievements, including an increase in profit of over $31 million, would not have been possible without developing an environment of trust, purpose and inspired culture in which people worked cohesively towards shared goals. My 25 years of experience gave me invaluable insights into the factors influencing business success.
Now, I share the expertise and experience that I developed over my 25 year career with leadership teams across the Australian retail sector to assist with the creation of high-performance environments that have a positive impact on not only the bottom line of retail businesses but also equally importantly on their people.
